This event is sponsored by Finessed Media, Inc. and hosted by Dani Vongsamphanh and Jordan Steele.
We are all fans - music festivals, concerts, and touring are ingrained into our lives as music lovers. However, did you know that these pastimes have a heavy negative impact on our earth? Coachella alone produces over 600 tons of waste each year in the form of litter and trash - we haven't even talked about how much energy it takes to put on the shows yet.
That's why this weekend we'll be joined by Max Shand, James Dove, and AY Young, experts in sustainability practices specifically in the music industry.
We’ll be discussing how we as artists, music industry professionals, and music lovers can acquire sustainable practices that allow for the longevity of these musical pastimes and a healthier and safer planet.

James Dove is a musician/producer and environmentalist who believes the music industry has the unique power and responsibility to become a leader in driving climate change action on a global scale. But first, the industry must address its own environmental issues. To achieve this, more opportunities are needed for its companies, staff, and artists to learn more about the climate crisis and what they can do about it. James is launching ClimateEQ to address this need to bridge the gap between climate awareness and climate action.
