As the music industry continues to grow, many people don't realize the abundant job opportunities there are in the field! In this event, we'll be discussing tips for artists and aspiring music professionals on how to get a job in the music industry, job opportunities, as welling as hearing from a wide range of varying music industry professionals.

Our speakers will include:

Panelists:

DILEMMA is a producer, DJ, and teacher all in one. He has worked as a producer with artists like Rihanna, Meek Mill, Black Thought, Earl St. Clair, Ray J, Migos, and Jazmine Sullivan on her GRAMMY-nominated project “Reality Show" and recent project "Heaux Tales" that debuted at #1 on the Billboard R&B Album charts. In addition to his work with artists, Dilemma has also produced for television including TV One’s popular live performance show, “Verses and Flow” and Fox's brand new hit show "The Four: Battle For Stardom".

James Donio is the former President of the Music Business Association (Music Biz), where he spent more than three decades guiding this leading trade association supporting all forms of music commerce and content. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Temple University in Philadelphia teaching a class entitled The Recording Industry & Music Business. Donio is also the Founder & CEO of Sir James Productions, LLC, a company providing public speaking, writing, event planning, and consulting services. He wrote and published his first children’s book in 2019 entitled Zane To The Rescue, a true story about loss and love of a cherished pet. Donio earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Temple University. He has also been active in Philadelphia-area TV and cultural events, including the famed Mummers Parade, contributing to the winning of a local Emmy Award for Outstanding Cultural Programming for a show entitled “Mummer Mania.”

Isabella Bedoya, founder of Fame Hackers, helps music artists attract and monetize their super fans. Isabella, former A&R for a label under Sony, and digital marketing expert. She has managed marketing activations for major labels, music startups, and Fortune 500 brands including managing two TikTok accounts for Sony LATAM. Isabella has been invited to speak at Musicians Institute, iHeartRadio, TickerNews, BoldTV, NBC, KCAA, List TV, and has been published in multiple publications such as Thrive Global, Medium, and Music Industry Weekly to name a few. Isabella was recently featured in the LA Note's 30 under 30 in the music industry.

Laura Nagtegaal 's career touring the world as a guitar technician, tour manager, and merchandiser started in the mid -'90s. With her zen, but sunny and infectious demeanor, she spreads her own newfound joy and youthful life force around.
