Celebrating Black Women in the Music Industry

This event is sponsored by Finessed Media, Inc. and hosted by Jordan Steele.

If you've paid attention to what goes on in the music industry even a little bit, you've noticed that women, especially BIPOC women, are the LEAST represented demographic in the industry! However, their voices are vital to the creative side, the business side, and all aspects of what makes music what it is today and what it has always been from the very beginning.

This weekend, at the intersection of Black History Month and Women's History Month, Finessed Media will be highlighting some of the Black Women Music Industry Leaders who work with YOUR favorite artists and who are paving the way for aspiring industry professionals like yourself.

We will be joined by:

Sammye Ruth-Scott - Director of A&R, Atlantic Records

Angie K - Content Operator & Artist Services Specialist, Audiomack

Alena Jackson - Marketing Manager, SALXCO

Kaylah Calvert - Marketing, Atlantic Records

Agenda:

12 - 12:10pm EST Introductions

12:10 - 12:45pm EST Interview with Speakers
