Semaj Horry is the CEO of All Harlem World, a media company that provides information and insight on all things Harlem culture including music, art, history, and relevant news. Semaj, Norm Brand, Jr. AKA "Just Norm," and Donjai Gilmore started the company originally in merchandising and eventually expanded into a media company when the three recognized a demand in showcasing Harlem happenings. Semaj currently works with Dave East's team as A&R and has previously worked on securing sponsorships for Dave during Karma 1 & Karma 2.

He joins us this Saturday to speak on his experience coming up in the music industry and how he now helps producers and artists connect with larger platforms.

Finessed Media is holding an open discussion about Latinidad in Black spaces with female leaders within the Afro-Latinx community to share their unique experiences on discovering their Black/PoC identity and Black Latino represe​ntation in mainstream media and music and to discuss what companies, organizations and individuals can do to progress the Black Lives Matter movement.

This weekend, Finessed Media is hosting its first Jam Session where artists worldwide will have a chance to perform virtually in front of CEO Alexi Rabadam to compete for $100 and a feature on the Finessed Media website and Instagram. Attendees and artists will be able to vote privately for each artist and Alexi will choose the winner from two finalists with the most votes.

- Choco K | A very 90's inspired, being raised in the bad boy/death row era. A young man from the heart of the Bronx shares his life experiences and influences transparently.

- Blánid | London-based. Described as “phenomenal” and “unique” by BBC Radio, BLÁNID’s emotive blend of indie folk and blues, combined with her unique and powerful voice, makes her one to watch.

- Byron | Byron Mayhew is a 24 year old singer-songwriter who is based out of San Francisco, California. Inspired by John Legend's vocal style and guitar styles of Young the Giant, Hippo Campus and Explosions in the Sky.

- EL.SY | LA-based singer-songwriter EL.SY. crafts thoughtful and energetic alternative/indie pop with influences across contemporary R&B, soul, electronic and folk. EL.SY. mixes elements of dark synths & beats with light acoustic & natural sounds to create a musical space that is all her own.

- Travis Gregory | A multi-genre singer/instrumentalist whose inspiration for music comes from vivid dreams and life's experiences.

- Lymerick | A singer-songwriter and instrumentalist who brings a soulful vibe to any crowd.

- Rxse Gxld Paris | A Kansas City based rapper and singer.

- She Knows Me By Jarell | Jarell aka SKMBJarell is a 25 year old rapper from Fairfield, California. Inspired by unique Bay Area sounds and artists, Jarell aims to invoke emotion and motivation.

- Chris Carter | A Louisville-raised and Kansas City-based rapper inspired by 90s hip hop legends and a desire to make music that matters. Carter aims to make music that resonates across generations.
