Are you a bedroom engineer or producer looking to make a name for yourself in the music industry and work with larger artists? Or an artist trying to level up your sound but you don't know how?

This weekend, we are joined by VIP guest sound engineers Globin and AlexisEngineers, and producer/composer, Nick Lee.

Our three speakers have worked with the likes of Demi Lovato, Dusty Locane, Lil Nas X, Toosi, and more.

We will be discussing the role of sound engineers, the difference between production and sound engineering, and how producers and sound engineers work together to create one harmonious sound. If you are hoping to learn more about how to become a better producer or sound engineer or want to learn about how to level up your musical career, then this event is for YOU.

LISTENING SESSION

The event will be concluded with our weekly listening session. 6-8 artists will have a chance to play their music in front of a live audience and will receive constructive criticism from our speakers.

To be considered for music play in the listening session, artists must purchase a SUBMISSION REVIEW ticket and submit one song LINK (preferably Spotify) by Friday 8/6 at 5pm ET with subject line "SATURDAY SUBMISSION" to info@finessed.media.

Our team will screen your music for relevancy to audience, quality, and how beneficial the feedback will be. If your submission is not accepted, you will receive a full refund. Submissions that are accepted will have 1:30 to 2 min of their song played in front of the audience.

Must be a Finessed Media VIP Career Development member or purchase a SUBMISSION REVIEW ticket for consideration.

AlexisEngineers

Alexis Cunningham is a recording and mixing engineer as well as a vocal producer. After graduating SAE Institute of New York, she began her internship at Blast Off Productions in August of 2017. Alexis quickly learning the skills and hands-on experience needed to work with industry artists, she began recording and mixing for artists signed to various labels such as Atlantic, Ultramusic, Cinematic, RCA and Universal. She also enjoys engineering and producing for independent artists while helping them with their artist development. Alexis hopes to continue to make a name for herself while exploring all the music industry has to offer creatively and through business.

Globin

New Jersey Native, Globin, came up writing and recording with friends and grew his craft at Penthouse Studios. Currently he is working with artists, releasing music, studying the business and resides at Penthouse Studios along with other select top-tier recording studios in New York and New Jersey.

Nick Lee

Nick Lee is a Chinese- and Japanese-American record producer, songwriter, composer and trombonist. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, he attended the Harvard-Westlake school before transferring to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (Lachsa) to pursue music seriously. Upon graduating from Lachsa, Nick moved to New York to study jazz trombone at the Juilliard School for a couple years before heading back to LA to pursue a career in music production.

Since then, Nick has established himself as a producer/songwriter rising through the ranks among a new era of pop production and songwriting talent. Signed by Scooter Braun to Atlas Music Publishing, Nick has been in the studio with the likes of Demi Lovato, Lil Nas X, CL, Stray Kids, Poo Bear, Social House, Rachel Platten, LP and Prettymuch. Recently, he co-produced and co-wrote “Industry Baby” by Lil Nas X (feat. Jack Harlow) alongside Take a Daytrip and Kanye West. The record debuted at #1 globally on Spotify and sat at #1 on the Spotify top 50 - USA chart. Previously, he also co-produced and co-wrote "Sunshine" by k-pop group stray kids on their album "levanter" (which charted as the #1 k-pop album in the world and debuted as the #1 album in 18 countries), co-wrote and co-produced the recent Dillon Francis singles "you do you" and "touch,” and co-produced and co-wrote rachel platten’s comeback single “soldiers,” which was licensed by CBS in a network promo ad. In addition, Nick has had his songs licensed by tv shows such as American Idol and the rookie on ABC. on top of producing, in 2020 he segued into scoring for tv/film, composing for series-order shows grand crew (NBC) and this country (FOX).
