Songwriting is one of the main ways to showcase music artistry. Perfecting your pen will elevate your catalogue and therefore, open up your prospects to other talented artists like yourself!

We’ll be discussing the process and significance of crafting an amazing song and how to leverage your skills. Featuring 3x Grammy nominated songwriter and CEO and Founder of Sorority Records, Jeanine Smith.

LISTENING SESSION

The event will be concluded with our weekly listening session. 6-8 artists will have a chance to play their music in front of a live audience and will receive constructive criticism from our speakers.

To be considered for music play in the listening session, artists must purchase a SUBMISSION REVIEW ticket and submit one song LINK (preferably Spotify) by Friday 4/8 at 9pm ET with subject line "SATURDAY SUBMISSION" to info@finessed.media.

Our team will screen your music for relevancy to audience, quality, and how beneficial the feedback will be. If your submission is not accepted, you will receive a full refund. Submissions that are accepted will have 1:30 to 2 min of their song played in front of the audience.

Must be a Finessed Media VIP Career Development member or purchase a SUBMISSION REVIEW ticket for consideration.

Jeanine Smith is an acclaimed songstress and the founding CEO of a digital label/metaverse music and media company called sorority records! She’s been in the game since the early 2000s as she has written for the Grammy award-winning R&B singer Anthony Hamilton and has worked with the likes of Rocwilder (Destiny’s Child, Method Man, Janet Jackson), Fury (Lil Kim, TI), 88 Keys (Mos Def, Musiq Soulchild) and a plethora of other prolific producers. She has won the BMI/Songwriters Hall of Fame Abe Olman award in 2003. Smith is determined to shift the music industry by becoming a thought leader in the metaverse.
