Titi Owusu: Releases Amapiano infused single Odo Ntia

Abigail Tiwaah known professionally as Titi Owusu is a Ghanaian singer who doesn’t conform to any genre. Titi instead feels that her talent and vocal range allow her to bend genres effortlessly at will. Currently based in Accra the Ghanaian capital the singer/songwriter is signed to UK-based indie label Skillions Global.

Her music journey started at a young age. Titi recalls going to The Church of Pentecost, Lapaz where she fell in love with music and hasn’t looked back since. Her talent allowed her to perform at parties, weddings and school functions as she began to embrace her lifelong dream.

While a student at Ghana Secondary School, Titi decided to take her music seriously, which led to her winning Best Female Singer/Rapper at the time.

Now fully being the artist that she always dreamed of being , Titi is focusing on breaking into the international market with soulful sound which is capturing audiences all over the world.

Her latest single which was released on the 1st of February 2023 beautifully captures the sounds that represent Ghanaian music mixed with Afrohouse and the popular genre of Amapiano.

“Odo Ntia,” co-written by TiTi Owusu is an assurance of love from the soulful vocalist to her love interest. On the Jayso and MikeMillzOnEm-produced track, the Ghanaian genre-bending artist shows appreciation for her lover and promises to care for him. The mid-tempo song also sees TiTi Owusu assure her lover of a together forever. It is a follow-up to her previous single, “Pray For Me, which sees her asking her significant other for assurance of his love. 

In addition to being a love anthem, “Odo Ntia” is a showcase of TiTi Owusu’s growth as a songwriter and vocalist. The 26-year-old singer recalls immediately penning down the lyrics after hearing and loving the instrumental, during a session with Jayso, her mentor and CEO of Skillions Global, the independent record label she is signed to.
