DJ Romeo Talks About How He Learned to Fend for Himself The Hard Way
We sat down with Bay Area-born, Vegas-based DJ Romeo Reyes to chat about his experience with becoming a DJ and tips he would give to aspiring DJs in the music industry.
DJ Romeo is a globally-acclaimed DJ who began his career by DJ-ing at high school and college events. When Romeo discovered that DJ-ing was his calling, he quit his job working as an attendant at a gas station to pursue his passion full-time. DJ Romeo used his college experience in graphic design to create his own promotions and market himself to clubs and local venues in the Bay Area, and eventually became well-known for bringing in huge crowds and booking some of the best DJs to Bay Area nigh clubs.
DJ Romeo holds residencies worldwide, including a placement at Levi's Stadium for the 49ers. He is currently working on producing his own music. His first original single, "Up All Night" was released in November 2019 and has been streamed more than 50,000 times across all major platforms.
